As previously reported, an accident occurred between a KRL Commuter Line and the Argo Bromo Anggrek train at East Bekasi Station, West Java, on Monday (27/4/2026) night.
The incident allegedly originated from an accident at the Jalan Ampera level crossing, near East Bekasi Station.
Responding to this incident, the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi, stated that President Prabowo Subianto plans to reorganize approximately 1,800 railway crossings in various regions.
This management includes the provision of crossing guards to the construction of flyovers.
“The President requested that immediate remedial steps be taken to ensure that undesirable events do not occur in the future,” said Prasetyo, as quoted from Katadata.co.id.
