The number of motor vehicles in Mimika Regency, Central Papua, reached 146,740 units in March 2025.
Based on data from the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri)'s Electronic Registration and Identification (ERI) system on Sunday (March 16th), the number of motorcycles in Mimika Regency was 123,230 units.
Furthermore, the number of passenger cars was 16,170 units, followed by 6,896 units of goods vehicles, 397 buses, and 49 special vehicles.
Mimika Regency (146,740 units) had the highest number of motor vehicles among regencies/cities in the province. Puncak Regency had the lowest number, with only 25 units.
