The number of motor vehicles in Paniai Regency, Central Papua, reached 9,200 units in March 2025.
Based on data from the Indonesian National Police Traffic Corps (Korlantas Polri)'s Electronic Registration and Identification (ERI) system on Saturday (March 22nd), the number of motorcycles in Paniai Regency totaled 7,380 units.
Furthermore, there were 1,045 passenger cars, 749 cargo vehicles, 16 buses, and 10 special vehicles.
Among the regencies/cities in the province, Mimika Regency had the highest number of motor vehicles (146,740 units), while Puncak Regency had the lowest (25 units).
