Germany ranks as the best country in logistics. This nation, symbolized by the black eagle, achieved a score of 4.2, surpassing Luxembourg, Sweden, the Netherlands, and Singapore, which also made the top five. Compared to these five countries, Germany excels in infrastructure, logistics quality, and competence.
The Logistics Performance Index (LPI) is conducted by the World Bank every two years. The LPI serves as a benchmark for all countries worldwide to identify the processes of goods distribution, both domestically and in international trade interactions.
This logistics index assessment is based on six main components: efficiency, infrastructure, trade quality, ease of shipping, logistics services, tracking facilities, and frequency of shipments.
In 2016, 160 countries were included in the ranking index. Indonesia ranked 63rd.
