Central Java Province recorded a total export volume of 281,460 tons in December 2024. For exports categorized by SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) code 63 (wood and cork products), the province recorded a decreased volume of 71.6 million tons in December 2024.
This decline in export value contributed to a decrease in foreign exchange reserves and the total export value, which had previously been on an upward trend for the past five months. This figure is lower than the same period two years prior, which recorded 80.9 million tons. According to Bank Indonesia (BI) records, exports from the province in the same period the previous year totaled 80.9 million tons.
