Indonesia's Exports to Sierra Leone Decreased, but Imports Increased in 2020

Indonesia's trade balance with Sierra Leone showed a surplus of US$8.92 million in 2020. However, this surplus decreased drastically by -46.5% compared to the previous year's balance of US$16.68 million.

This decline in the trade balance, according to Trademap data, was supported by Indonesian export values reaching US$12.03 million. This value is higher than Indonesia's imports from Sierra Leone, which were recorded at US$3.11 million.

Indonesian exports to Sierra Leone have been declining over the past year. The previous year's export value was US$18.3 million.

Imports, according to Trademap data, increased by 92.08% compared to the previous year, which was recorded at US$1.62 million.

Based on product type, there were 10 main export products from Indonesia to Sierra Leone that recorded a surplus during 2020. The total value of these main exports reached US$11.71 million.
