Central Kalimantan province recorded a total export volume of 3.39 million tons in October 2024. Meanwhile, for exports according to the SITC (Standard International Trade Classification) code 24, wood and cork, exports from this province in October 2024 increased to 47.78 million tons.
This increase in exports for SITC code 24 contrasts with the conditions of the previous five months, which had shown a continuous decline. Bank Indonesia (BI) reported that the monthly export volume in October 2023 was lower, at 41.46 million tons.
Based on import customs documents, Central Kalimantan recorded 17 groups of goods exported from the province. These goods are grouped into 2-digit SITC codes. The group of goods with the highest export volume is SITC code 32, coal, coke, and briquettes.
Based on the historical data for the last 13 months, the highest export volume from Central Kalimantan was recorded in June 2024 at 153.09 million tons, while the lowest was in September 2024 at 41.46 million tons.
