This figure represents a 3.11% increase month-to-month (m-to-m) compared to the previous month's US$26.49 billion, reaching the highest point in the last year, as shown in the graph.

Compared to April of the previous year, national exports grew by 47.76% year-on-year (yoy). In April 2021, the national export value was US$18.49 billion.

The increase in national exports in April 2022 was due to a 3.17% m-to-m increase in non-oil and gas exports, from US$25.09 billion to US$25.88 billion.

Oil and gas exports also increased by 2.01% m-to-m, from US$1.40 billion to US$1.43 billion.

The increase in oil and gas exports was mainly driven by a 32.64% m-to-m increase in refined oil exports to US$610 million.

Meanwhile, crude oil exports decreased by 23.69% m-to-m to US$111.8 million, and gas exports decreased by 10.92% m-to-m to US$711.5 million.

Cumulatively, Indonesia's export value from January to April 2022 reached US$93.47 billion, a 38.68% increase compared to the same period in 2021 (cumulative to cumulative/c-to-c).

Cumulative non-oil and gas exports for the same period reached US$88.73 billion, a 39.12% increase (c-to-c).
