Travel and Leisure magazine has released its list of the world's best international airports for 2023.
Singapore Changi Airport topped the list, receiving a score of 94.42 points from Travel and Leisure readers. This Singaporean international airport has held the top spot since 2013.
Its appeal lies in various attractions such as Jewel, a six-hectare retail and entertainment complex featuring a climbing wall, Singapore's largest hedge maze, and the world's tallest airport slide.
Changi Airport's most famous attraction is the Rain Vortex, the world's tallest indoor waterfall.
Dubai International Airport, Dubai, United Arab Emirates (UAE), followed in third place with a reader score of 89.98 points.
This was followed by Hamad International Airport in Doha, Qatar, which achieved a score of 86.75 points.
Travel and Leisure readers scored airports based on several criteria, including access, check-in/security, restaurants, shopping facilities, and design.
Travel and Leisure releases this award annually. The survey involved approximately 165,000 readers, a sample of readers experienced in the global travel industry.
