Furthermore, there were 136,125 foreign tourist visits via sea transport (16.8%), and 12,858 visits via land transport (1.58%).

The majority of foreign tourists visiting Indonesia in February 2023 came from Malaysia, with 124,617 visits (15.39%).

This was followed by tourists from Singapore with 111,259 visits (13.74%), Australia with 96,157 visits (11.87%), Timor Leste with 63,594 visits (7.85%), and China with 51,974 visits (6.42%).

Cumulatively, the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia from January to March 2023 reached 2.24 million visits, a 508.87% increase compared to the same period last year. From January to March 2022, the number of foreign tourist visits to Indonesia was only 369,180.
