The Indonesian Internet Service Providers Association (APJII) surveyed Indonesian public opinion on the benefits of online gambling.

The results showed that the majority, or 87.59% of respondents, believed there were no benefits.

Furthermore, 5.90% of respondents felt online gambling offered the opportunity to earn money quickly.

This survey also found that only 2.29% of respondents had ever profited from online gambling, while 97.71% had not.

APJII conducted this survey among 8,700 respondents aged 13 and above, proportionally distributed across 38 Indonesian provinces. The sample was selected using multistage random sampling.

Data collection was carried out from April 10 to July 16, 2025, using face-to-face interviews, with a margin of error of approximately 1.1%.
