Several factors contribute to Indonesian mothers' interest in online shopping. This is evident in the report *The Digital Mum Survey: Indonesia - 2024*, released by theAsianparent Insights.

According to the report, the majority, or 84%, of respondent mothers are drawn to online shopping because of lower prices compared to offline stores.

Other reasons for their preference include the comfort of shopping from home (83%), home delivery services (75%), special promotions or offers (60%), and flexible shopping hours (60%).

Additional factors include the ease of comparing prices and products, the availability of reviews and ratings from other consumers, and the exclusive online availability of certain products, as shown in the graph.

"Mothers are attracted to online shopping due to its competitive prices, convenience, and the comfort of shopping from home," stated theAsianparent Insights in its report.

"The ability to easily compare products and access reviews further strengthens their decision-making," it continued.

This online survey employed purposive random sampling, involving 1,000 respondents with interview durations of 15-20 minutes.

Respondents were women aged 18 to 40 and above, with children, residing in Indonesia, and representing various socioeconomic groups.
