The Ministry of Communication and Digital (Komdigi) detected the use of digital wallet accounts or e-wallets for online gambling transactions between August 8, 2023, and November 19, 2024.

E-wallets frequently implicated in online gambling transactions during this period include DANA (25.68%), GoPay (24.84%), LinkAja (21.47%), OVO (21.26%), Sakuku (2.23%), and ShopeePay (2.11%).

"We have communicated with them [e-wallet companies] to take down their respective e-wallet accounts," said Minister of Komdigi Meutya Hafid in an online press conference on Thursday, November 21, 2024.

In addition, Komdigi provides several reporting channels to facilitate public reporting of online gambling activities. Through the website aduankonten.id, the public can report content suspected of being related to online gambling. The websites aduannomor.id and cekrekening.id can be used to check accounts suspected of involvement in this illegal activity.
