The *LinkedIn Top Startups 2022* list was compiled considering four pillars: employee growth, engagement, job interest, and attractiveness to top candidates.
Employee growth is measured by the percentage increase in the number of employees during the study period, which must reach a minimum of 10%.
Engagement is measured by the number of visits and the number of non-employee people following the company's LinkedIn page, as well as the number of non-employee people visiting employee profiles at that startup.
Job interest is measured by the type of people visiting and applying for jobs at the company, including through paid and unpaid job advertisements.
Attractiveness to top candidates is measured by the number of employees recruited by the startup from LinkedIn Top Companies, as a percentage of the startup's total workforce.
This data was normalized across all eligible startups. The study period was from July 1, 2021, to June 30, 2022.
"The main purpose of compiling this list is to provide a source of information for job seekers who want to embrace opportunities to innovate, solve large-scale problems, and develop skills," explained LinkedIn.
