Indonesia's women's national team (Timnas Putri) advanced to the semifinals of the AFF Women's U-19 football tournament after topping Group A.
Garuda Pertiwi's resounding 5-0 victory over Cambodia secured Indonesia's place in the semifinals. The goals were scored by Claudia Scheunemann, Marsela Yuliana Awi, Ayunda Anggraini, and Sheva Imut (who scored two goals).
This achievement makes the Indonesian U-19 women's national team the most prolific, with a total of 16 goals.
So far, no other national team has scored more than 10 goals. Unsurprisingly, the top scorer standings are currently dominated by the Indonesian women's national team.
In the current standings, Claudia Scheunemann and Ayunda Anggraini have each contributed 4 goals.
The 14-year-old Claudia, as she is affectionately known, scored her first goal against Timor Leste, two goals against Laos, and one against Cambodia.
Ayunda, meanwhile, scored two goals against Timor Leste, and two more goals against Laos and Cambodia respectively.
Rudy Eka Priyambada's team continues to deliver impressive performances, advancing to the semifinals. This achievement significantly increases Garuda Pertiwi's chances of winning their first title.
