Games are the most popular applications for Apple Inc. gadget and computer users. According to statistics, games are the most downloaded applications, reaching 25.04 percent, surpassing the business category which only reached 9.88 percent and other categories. These downloaded game applications fall under the category of *high mobile user engagement*. In June 2016, approximately 88 percent of digital games were downloaded via mobile applications.

In April 2017, *Clash of Clans* and *Clash Royale* were the most popular applications, generating revenue of US$1 million per day. Yet, downloading these games only costs US$0.48. In the summer of 2016, 140 million applications were downloaded from the App Store, and in January 2017, there were 2.2 million applications available for download from Apple Inc.'s app store.
