Homeownership Rates Across Indonesian Provinces 2024

According to a report by the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), as of March 2024, 84.95% of households in Indonesia own their homes.

BPS defines homeownership as a residential building owned by the head of the household or one of its members, including those purchased through bank installments or lease-to-own schemes.

In March 2024, Papua Pegunungan province had the highest homeownership rate at 97.34%.

Conversely, DKI Jakarta had the lowest rate, with only 54.44% of households owning their homes.

3. Lampung: 93.05%
