Algoritma Research & Consulting's survey shows that Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno and Minister of State-Owned Enterprises (SOEs) Erick Thohir are in a tight race for the 2024 vice presidential candidacy. These two ministers in the Indonesian Advanced Cabinet have the highest electability among several prominent figures.

Sandiaga Uno's electability is highest at 11.3%. Meanwhile, Erick Thohir's electability is second at 10.3%.

Besides Sandiaga and Erick, other figures appeared in this survey with electability below 10%. These include Mahfud MD with 8.8% of the vote, Ridwan Kamil with 7.9%, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono with 7.0%, and Gibran Rakabuming Raka with 5.2%.

On the other hand, figures with electability below 5% are Andika Perkasa with 3.6%; Khofifah Indar Parawansa with 3.5%; Muhaimin Iskandar with 1.3%; Puan Maharani with 1.3%; and Airlangga Hartarto with 1.0%.

The Algoritma survey was conducted from May 29 to June 10, 2023, involving 2,009 respondents across 34 Indonesian provinces. The survey was conducted through face-to-face interviews using questionnaires. The survey's margin of error is estimated at 2.1% at a 95% confidence level.
