Political Charter: The President Remains the Most Trusted State Institution by the Public

A survey by Charta Politika Indonesia shows that the president is the most trusted state institution by the public. This is based on respondent assessments, with 77.8% stating they are fairly confident and 6.8% stating they are very confident.

Meanwhile, 7.2% of respondents said they were less confident in the president. The remainder includes 2% who said they were not confident and 6.3% who did not answer.

The Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI) ranked second as the most trusted state institution by the public. 76.3% of respondents said they were fairly confident in the TNI, and 7.4% said they were very confident.

Following in third place is the Indonesian National Police (Polri), with 66.8% of respondents saying they are fairly confident, and 5.8% saying they are very confident. Next is the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK), with 64.3% of respondents saying they are fairly confident, and 6% saying they are very confident.

The survey was conducted from November 29 to December 6, 2021, using a face-to-face interview method with multistage random sampling and involved 1,200 respondents. The margin of error for the survey is 2.83% with a 95% confidence level.
