According to the Indonesian Survey Institute (LSI), 71.9% of Prabowo-Gibran voters believe in the General Election Commission (KPU)'s real count results for the 2024 Presidential Election, while 17.6% do not.

Meanwhile, only 15.4% of Anies-Muhaimin voters believe in the KPU's real count, while 51.5% do not.

A similar trend occurred among Ganjar-Mahfud voters, with 12.7% believing in the KPU's real count and 30.9% not believing it.

"We can predict from the beginning that those who believe in the real count results are mostly voters for pair 02 (Prabowo-Gibran)," said LSI Executive Director Djayadi Hanan in a press conference on the LSI YouTube account, Sunday (25/2/2024).

However, LSI did not investigate further the factors that caused respondents to distrust the real count results.

"Whether (what factors) caused their disbelief, whether it's (the calculation results) too high or too low, we don't know. The data cannot be traced that far," said Djayadi.

LSI conducted this survey from February 19-21, 2024, involving 1,211 respondents aged 17 years and older or already married, and owning a mobile phone. Respondents are assumed to represent 83% of the total national population.

Sample selection used a validated random digit dialing (RDD) technique. Selected respondents were then interviewed by phone.

The margin of error for this survey is approximately 2.6% at a 95% confidence level, assuming simple random sampling.
