Based on the preliminary real count by the General Election Commission (KPU), Edhie Baskoro Yudhoyono, also known as Ibas, the Deputy Chairman of the Democratic Party, is leading in the legislative election (pileg) for the House of Representatives (DPR RI) in East Java VII electoral district.
This electoral district comprises Ngawi, Ponorogo, Trenggalek, Pacitan, and Magetan Regencies. Candidates in this region are vying for 8 seats in the DPR RI.
As of Thursday (February 22, 2024) at 11:00 WIB, the son of Susilo Bambang Yudhoyono received 249,041 votes. Ibas significantly surpasses other candidates in this region; none have yet reached over 100,000 votes.
The next highest vote count in East Java VII electoral district was obtained by Budi Sulistyono, also known as Kanang, the former Regent of Ngawi (2010-2015). This PDI-P candidate garnered 95,437 votes.
Following this is Iman Sukri, the PKB DPP Chairman, with 81,371 votes.

10. Johan Budi Sapto Pribowo (PDIP): 39,350 votes
