Adela Kanasya Adies was inaugurated as a member of Indonesia’s House of Representatives (DPR RI) for the 2026–2029 term. She replaced her father, Adies Kadir, through an interim replacement mechanism (PAW).
Adies previously served as Deputy Speaker of the DPR and has now been appointed as a Constitutional Court judge, replacing Arief Hidayat.
Adela’s inauguration was based on Presidential Decree No. 49/P of 2026 concerning the Official Appointment of Interim DPR and MPR Members for the Remaining 2024–2029 Term.
“By God, I swear that I will fulfill my duties as a Member of the House of Representatives to the best of my ability and in the fairest manner possible, in accordance with the laws and regulations, guided by Pancasila and the 1945 Constitution of the Republic of Indonesia,” Adela said while reciting her oath of office during the 18th DPR Plenary Session chaired by DPR Speaker Puan Maharani on Tuesday (May 12, 2026).
The female cadre of Golkar Party, representing the East Java I electoral district, reported total assets worth Rp9.95 billion in 2026.
This was disclosed in her State Officials’ Wealth Report (LHKPN), which she submitted to Indonesia’s Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) on March 11, 2026.
Most of her wealth comes from two plots of land and residential properties valued at Rp6.25 billion, located in South Jakarta and Bekasi.
Adela also reported owning two cars worth Rp1.7 billion: a Mazda (2023) and a Lexus (2024).
Her other assets include Rp1.44 billion in cash and cash equivalents, as well as Rp562 million in other movable assets.
As of mid-2026, the DPR member born in 1995 was reported to have no debt.
