Wealth Showdown of Three Deputy Ministers of Home Affairs: Who is the Richest?

President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated Akhmad Wiyagus as Deputy Minister of Home Affairs (Wamendagri) at Merdeka Palace, Jakarta, on Wednesday, October 8, 2025. 

Wiyagus became the third Deputy Minister of Home Affairs in the institution, following two previously appointed officials, namely Bima Arya Sugiarto and Ribka Haluk. 

Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi stated that the president deemed it necessary to have additional deputy ministers to ensure smooth development in every region of Indonesia.

"Therefore, Mr. President felt it necessary to provide additional strength to the Ministry of Home Affairs by appointing one Deputy Minister of Home Affairs," said Prasetyo after the inauguration, as reported by Katadata, Wednesday, October 8, 2025. 

Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian also explained that the government needs to expand the scope of supervision across all regions in the country. Later, the duties of the three Deputy Ministers of Home Affairs will be divided based on Indonesia's time zones. 

"For example, Java-Sumatra will have one deputy minister. Kalimantan and Sulawesi will have one deputy minister. Then Maluku, Papua, and Bali Nusra will have one deputy minister," he said.

In addition to these appointments, Bima Arya Sugiarto is recorded as the wealthiest Deputy Minister of Home Affairs. According to the State Officials' Wealth Report (LHKPN) by the KPK, the former Mayor of Bogor had assets worth Rp9.61 billion in 2024. 

Most of his wealth comes from one plot of land and building he owns in Bogor, valued at Rp7.19 billion.

In the same year, Ribka was reported to have assets totaling Rp8.33 billion. Her primary source of wealth also comes from land and houses. She is recorded as owning four plots of land valued at Rp6.54 billion, spread across Jayapura.

Lastly, Akhmad Wiyagus last reported his wealth when serving as the Lampung Regional Police Chief in 2022. He is recorded as owning six property assets valued at Rp2.36 billion, spread across East Jakarta, West Bandung, Tasikmalaya, and Tangerang.
