Local Granulated Sugar Prices in Traditional Markets March 2025-2026 Period

Quoting from the National Strategic Food Price Information Center dashboard at 07:45 WIB, the daily local granulated sugar price in traditional markets of the Special Region of Yogyakarta (DI Yogyakarta) has not changed compared to the previous day, just like the price developments in the last week.

Meanwhile, compared to the last month, the daily local granulated sugar price in traditional markets has increased from the previously recorded Rp17.4 thousand.

Over the past three months in DI Yogyakarta, the daily local granulated sugar price in traditional markets has increased by 4.96% from the previously recorded Rp17.15 thousand.

The record increase in the daily local granulated sugar price in traditional markets in this province was previously recorded in January 2022 with a 15.69% increase, and the lowest decrease was recorded in May 2020 with a -6.8% decrease.

According to the PIHPS monitoring, the prices of nine staple foods (sembako) today in DI Yogyakarta show that two commodities decreased and 15 others increased. The sembako with decreased prices are Cooking Oil and Branded Packaged Cooking Oil 1.
