Nafa Urbach's Wealth: The Promise to Share Her Salary with Teachers

Nafa Urbach is an artist and a member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Commission XI for the 2024-2029 period. She has drawn attention after pledging to donate her salary and allowances as a DPR member to teachers in her electoral district.

This Nasdem Party cadre won a seat in the House of Representatives representing Electoral District 6 of Central Java, which encompasses the regencies and cities of Magelang, Purworejo, Temanggung, and Wonosobo.

"As a form of my commitment to the people, I choose to allocate my salary and allowances to the community in my electoral district," Nafa wrote on her Instagram account on Tuesday (August 26, 2025).

Nafa even stated that this commitment will continue until the end of her term in 2029. "My top priority is for the teachers, because they are the heroes of education who have rendered great service," she said.

Nafa's statement comes amid public discussion regarding the substantial salaries and allowances of DPR members.

According to her State Officials Wealth Report (LHKPN), Nafa Urbach had assets worth Rp20.20 billion at the end of 2024.

The majority of her assets consist of cash and cash equivalents totaling Rp3.70 billion. She also owns land and buildings worth Rp1.55 billion, comprising two plots of land and buildings located in Magelang.

She is also reported to own transportation assets worth Rp1.15 billion and securities worth Rp300 million. Her transportation assets include two vehicles: a Honda HRV Prestige (2015) and a Mercedes-Benz E200 (2022).

The 45-year-old artist also possesses other movable assets worth Rp13.5 billion. As of the end of 2024, Nafa is recorded as having no debt.
