The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) announced its performance in handling corruption cases throughout the first half of 2025 on Wednesday (August 6, 2025).

KPK Commissioner, Fitroh Rohcahyanto, stated that the most numerous cases handled by the anti-corruption agency during that period were in the prosecution phase.

The following are the number of cases handled by the KPK throughout the first half of 2025:

Prosecution: 46 cases
Investigation: 43 cases
Execution: 35 cases
Inquiry: 31 cases
Final and binding judgments (inkracht): 31 cases

“This also includes several cases that have been ongoing from previous years and only became inkracht in the first half of 2025,” said Fitroh in a press conference.

Fitroh added that, throughout January-June 2025, the anti-corruption agency also conducted two sting operations.
