This is Prabowo-Gibran's Program that Needs Prioritization According to Kompas Research and Development

Based on a recent survey by Kompas Research and Development (Litbang Kompas), the public considers several economic programs proposed by Prabowo Subianto and Gibran Rakabuming Raka to be prioritized.

A majority, or 34% of respondents, deemed the top priority to be programs providing nutritional assistance for children, toddlers, and pregnant women.

Next, 28% of respondents considered the Indonesia Healthy Card (KIS) program for the elderly to be prioritized, followed by 13% who prioritized millennial startup credit.

Meanwhile, 12.3% of respondents prioritized free lunch and milk programs in schools and Islamic boarding schools (pesantren).

According to the Prabowo-Gibran vision and mission document, free lunches and nutritional assistance for children, toddlers, and pregnant women are essentially the same program, but are often perceived differently.

"Although there are differing public perceptions of this program, it can be concluded that the public views the fulfillment of nutrition as important," stated the Litbang Kompas team in their report on Monday, March 25, 2024.

Besides nutrition, 9.2% of other respondents prioritized salary increases for civil servants (ASN), members of the Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI), the Indonesian National Police (Polri), and other state officials. Another 1.8% supported a perpetual fund program for Islamic boarding schools (pesantren), while 1.7% responded "don't know."

The Litbang Kompas survey involved 510 respondents randomly selected using a stratified systematic sampling method across 38 Indonesian provinces.

The survey was conducted from March 5-7, 2024, via telephone interviews. The survey's margin of error is approximately 4.33% with a 95% confidence level, under conditions of simple random sampling.
