Amman Mineral Nusa Tenggara (AMNT), a subsidiary of Medco Energi Internasional, produces copper from the Batu Hijau mine in Sumbawa, Nusa Tenggara. As of September 30, 2021, their copper production was recorded at 163 million pounds.
Over the past several years, from 2015 to 2021, AMNT's copper production has shown a declining trend.

AMNT's copper production fell below 200 million pounds in the following two years, reaching 142 million pounds in 2018 and 130 million pounds in 2019. Production saw a slight increase to 294 million pounds in 2020, before falling again in 2021.
AMNT is currently developing phases 7 and 8 of the Batu Hijau mine to increase its copper production. Additionally, they are constructing a copper smelting facility, targeted for completion in 2023.
