Forbes has released its list of the world's highest-paid female athletes. According to the report, *The World’s Highest-Paid Female Athletes 2023*, Iga Swiatek ranks first.
The Polish tennis player is estimated to have earned US$23.9 million, or approximately Rp371.50 billion (assuming Rp15,544 per US$), over the past year.
This income is comprised of US$9.9 million in on-field earnings and US$14 million in off-field earnings.
Late last year, Swiatek won the Women's Tennis Association Player of the Year award for the second consecutive time.
Furthermore, Swiatek is active off the court as a brand ambassador for Visa, On (shoes and apparel), Oshee (sports drink), and Infosys (information technology company).
In second place is Eileen Gu. The Chinese-American freestyle skier earned US$22.1 million, or Rp343.52 billion, with US$0.1 million from on-field earnings and US$22 million from off-field earnings.
Although Gu's on-field earnings were relatively low due to a knee injury, she generated significant income from collaborations with prominent brands such as Mengniu Dairy, Louis Vuitton, and Victoria's Secret.
Next, Coco Gauff ranks third with earnings of US$21.1 million, or approximately Rp337.30 billion. This includes US$6.7 million from on-field play and US$15 million from off-field endorsements, including Baker Tilly, Bose, and the film *The Marvels*.
