PT Global Digital Niaga Tbk., the parent company of the Blibli brand, plans to offer an initial public offering (IPO) on November 1-3, 2022.
This e-commerce company, owned by the Djarum Group, is offering approximately 17.77 billion new shares at a price range of Rp410-460 per share, with a target of raising Rp8.17 trillion in IPO funds.
In its offering prospectus, Blibli's management claims that its number of customers has steadily increased in recent years.
"The company's monthly active users (MAU) rose from 27.6 million in 2019 to 31.1 million in 2020 and to 38.4 million in 2021," Blibli's management revealed.
Blibli's management even stated that the number of MAUs in Q1 2022 had reached 45.7 million users, significantly exceeding previous years.
MAU is the average number of unique monthly customers who interact online with products on the Blibli.com and/or Tiket.com platforms, the latter being one of their subsidiaries.
This increase is mainly due to the rising demand for lifestyle and travel products following the gradual lifting of COVID-19 pandemic restrictions in Q1 2022.
"This is also due to increased marketing activities to anticipate future demand for the remainder of 2022."
