The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) evaluated a number of stock indices in April 2026, one of which is the LQ45 index.
The LQ45 index measures the price performance of 45 high-liquidity, large-market capitalization, and well-fundamented issuers.
For the period of May 4 to July 31, 2026, IDX removed five issuers from the LQ45 index, namely:
- PT Barito Renewables Energy Tbk (BREN)
- PT Ciputra Development Tbk (CTRA)
- PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA)
- PT Medikaloka Hermina Tbk (HEAL)
- PT Trimegah Bangun Persada Tbk (NCKL)
In its place, there are five issuers that entered the LQ45 index for the period of May 4 to July 31, 2026, namely:
- PT Petrindo Jaya Kreasi Tbk (CUAN)
- PT Darma Henwa Tbk (DEWA)
- PT ESSA Industries Indonesia Tbk (ESSA)
- PT Hartadinata Abadi Tbk (HRTA)
- PT Solusi Sinergi Digital Tbk (WIFI)
The issuers that entered the LQ45 index for the period of May 4 to July 31, 2026 have a free float ratio of between 10% and 71%.
Free float refers to the number of non-certificate shares, which are company shares that can be freely traded by the public.
Free float shares do not include shares owned by major shareholders, such as company controllers or affiliates, board members, and directors, as well as shares that have been repurchased by the company (buyback).
According to Maybank Securities Indonesia, shares with high free float are generally easier to buy and sell and tend to have more stable prices.
Conversely, shares with low free float can experience sharp price fluctuations, as the number of shares available in the market is limited.
Among all LQ45 issuers for the period of May 4 to July 31, 2026, the highest free float ratio is held by PT GoTo Gojek Tokopedia Tbk (GOTO), while the lowest ratio is held by PT Surya Citra Media Tbk (SCMA).
