The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) fell 42.75 points, or 0.62%, to close at 6,897.365 on Thursday, February 9, 2023.

The index decline occurred alongside a weakening of technology stocks by 4%. This was followed by the energy and non-primary consumer sectors, which contracted by 0.37% and 1.05%, respectively.

A total of 34.71 billion shares changed hands, with a transaction value of Rp 10.16 trillion.

ISAP was the top loser, weakening by 10%. This was followed by IBOS and PACK, which contracted by 9.63% and 9.59%, respectively.

Today's top gainer was ASPI, which strengthened by 30.77%, followed by LAJU and TUGU, which strengthened by 19.08% and 18.44%, respectively.

The majority of stocks closed lower today. Specifically, 325 stocks weakened, 309 stocks were stagnant, and 211 stocks strengthened.
