The Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) reported that the Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation in February 2023 was 0.16% month-to-month (mtm), lower than January 2023's 0.34% mtm.

Year-on-year (yoy), inflation reached 5.47% in February 2023, representing an increase in the Consumer Price Index (CPI) from 108.24 in February 2022 to 114.16 in February 2023.

Based on data from the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX), today's trading frequency was 1.09 million.

A total of 16.91 billion shares changed hands, with a transaction value of Rp 10.37 trillion.

The issuer with the code FUTR was the top gainer, strengthening by 34.71%. This was followed by MASA and AMAN, which strengthened by 24.86% and 24.63%, respectively.

Today's top loser was EURO, which contracted by 7.32%, followed by TFAS and BRPT, which weakened by 6.99% and 6.95%, respectively.

Although the stock index strengthened, the majority of stocks closed stagnant today. The breakdown is 322 stagnant stocks, 296 weakened stocks, and 231 strengthened stocks.
