Meanwhile, the three provinces with the least fish production were Jambi (213.99 tons), Maluku (261.55 tons), and North Kalimantan (610.57 tons).

BPS explained that the marine fisheries production refers to the fish catch landed at traditional fish landing sites spread across 27 provinces in Indonesia.

Data on production at 732 PITs was recorded for 50 types of fish. BPS noted that if there was fish production outside these types, it was included in the category "other fish".
