Latvia ranks second as the country with the highest alcohol consumption globally. Alcohol consumption in this Northern European country reached 12.90 liters per capita.
Next, the Czech Republic, located in Central Europe, consumed 12.73 liters of alcohol per capita. Also from Europe, Lithuania and Austria consumed 11.93 liters and 11.90 liters per capita, respectively.
Meanwhile, Antigua and Barbuda, an island nation located in the eastern Caribbean Sea, consumed 11.88 liters of alcohol per capita. Following, other European countries, Estonia and France, consumed 11.65 liters and 11.44 liters per capita, respectively.
