However, literacy in other financial services sectors is generally low, with proportions less than 50%.

The sector with the lowest literacy, or the least understood by the public, is microfinance institutions.

Minimal literacy was also found in the capital market sector, fintech lending, and pension funds, with proportions less than 30%.
