Dwimuria Investama Andalan Becomes BCA's Controlling Shareholder

In PT Bank BCA's financial report as of December 2016, the company's shareholder changed from Farindo Investment Ltd. to PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan. PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan now holds 47.15% of Bank BCA's shares. Meanwhile, Anthoni Salim still owns 1.76% of Bank BCA's shares. The remaining 51.09% is held by the public.

PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan's shares are owned by Robert Budi Hartono and Bambang Hartono, the conglomerate family that owns the Djarum cigarette factory. Therefore, the controlling shareholder of Bank BCA remains the two Hartono brothers. Due to the tax amnesty program, the Bank BCA shares previously held by Farindo Investment Ltd., based in Mauritius, have been transferred to PT Dwimuria Investama Andalan, based in Kudus, Central Java.

The transfer of BCA shares took place on November 11, 2016, through a crossing transaction (self-closing) involving 116.3 million lots at a price of Rp 15,224 per share. The transaction value was approximately Rp 177 trillion.
