This is a List of the World's Largest FinTech Companies by Funding, Alibaba Takes the Top Spot!

A CB Insights report titled "The Most Promising Fintech Companies of 2022" shows that Ant Group is the financial technology (fintech) company with the largest funding globally. The Alibaba-owned company has secured US$19.14 billion, equivalent to Rp291.65 trillion (using an exchange rate of Rp15,238/US$).

Several prominent investors support this Chinese digital wallet and remittance company, including Alibaba Group, Sequoia Capital, Temasek, Credit Suisse, and China Development Bank Capital.

Klarna ranks second globally in terms of funding, with US$4.27 billion raised. This Swedish fintech company is in second place.

Next, the United States-based fintech Stripe ranks third with a total funding of US$2.9 billion. This fintech is backed by major investors such as Elon Musk, Google Ventures, Goldman Sachs, J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., and Morgan Stanley.

9. FTX (Bahamas) – US$1.82 billion
10. N26 (Germany) – US$1.72 billion

CB Insights notes that 250 fintech companies globally are included in this list. Two Indonesian fintech companies, Xendit and Pluang, are included, with a total funding of US$515 million and US$113 million respectively.
