The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) recorded that in February 2022, approximately 954,600 working-age individuals were forced into unemployment due to the Covid-19 pandemic.

Of this number, the majority, or 46.69%, were from the early and middle-aged worker group, aged between 25 and 44 years.
