According to Global Index of GenAI Exposure released by the International Labour Organization (ILO) in May 2025, the jobs most likely to be automated using AI are clerks.

The ILO formulated this index with a score range of 0 to 1. The higher the score, the greater the potential for a job to be automated by AI.

Out of approximately 420 types of jobs surveyed, the ILO found 13 jobs with the highest AI exposure index, scoring 0.6 or above, with the majority related to clerical positions.

However, beyond clerical roles, AI also has significant potential to perform several jobs in the financial sector, namely securities dealers/brokers, financial analysts, and loan/credit officers.
