According to data from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), in February 2025, the number of working people in Indonesia reached 145.77 million.

Approximately 86.58 million people, or 59.40%, were categorized as informal workers.

The number of informal workers at the beginning of 2025 increased by 2.45 million compared to February of the previous year.
