Based on a report from the Indonesian Migrant Worker Protection Agency (BP2MI), there were 764 complaints from Indonesian Migrant Workers (IMWs) in the first half of 2024.

“The placement agency, which is suspected of being illegal, will continue to be investigated to prevent similar incidents from recurring and to minimize their occurrence,” said La Ode.
