The Central Statistics Agency (BPS) released data showing that the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Polewali Mandar Regency reached 1.95% in 2023. This figure is a decrease of 0.21% compared to December 2022, which was recorded at 2.16%. Compared to December 2021, the figure decreased by 1.43%.
Since 2009, the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Polewali Mandar Regency has shown a downward trend. A similar condition occurred four years after the Covid-19 pandemic, which began in March 2020, also followed by a decrease in the open unemployment rate (OUR) in Polewali Mandar Regency.
