Registration for Civil Servant Candidates (CPNS) and Government Employees with Work Agreements (PPPK) in 2023 officially closed on Wednesday, October 11, 2023. The National Civil Service Agency (BKN) reported that the number of applicants who registered on the Civil Servant Apparatus Candidate Selection System (SSCASN) portal reached 2,409,882 people.
The majority of these applicants, totaling 945,404, applied for CPNS positions. This was followed by PPPK applicants, comprising 637,313 Technical PPPK applicants, 439,020 Teacher PPPK applicants, and 388,145 Health Worker (Nakes) PPPK applicants.
BKN Deputy for Civil Servant Information Systems, Suharmen, stated that applicants who successfully completed registration can now print their registration cards from the SSCASN portal. "Applicants can then wait for the administrative selection results, as verification by each institution has been running in parallel since the registration opened," said Suharmen in a written statement on the BKN website on Thursday, October 12, 2023.
According to BKN data, the central institution receiving the most CPNS applicants was the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) with 231,109 applicants. The institution with the most Technical PPPK applicants was the Ministry of Religious Affairs (Kemenag) with 126,436 applicants.
The institution with the most Nakes PPPK applicants was the Ministry of Health (Kemenkes) with 12,605 applicants. Meanwhile, the institution with the most Teacher PPPK applicants was North Sumatra with 10,155 applicants.
Previously, the registration for the Civil Servant Apparatus Candidate (CASN) selection was extended for two days due to numerous complaints from applicants regarding high traffic impacting the official SSCASN website on the last day of registration.
Based on the latest administrative selection announcement released on October 9th, the announcement of the administrative selection results will be announced on October 15-18, 2023. After the announcement of the administrative results, there will be an objection and response period from October 19-23, 2023.
The objection period can be used by participants who object to their administrative results, through online objections on the SSCASN website with explanations and supporting evidence.
"It should also be noted that the objection period is not an opportunity to correct incorrect files or data inputted by the applicant, but an opportunity to state that the inputted data is correct, but something was overlooked by the institution's verifier, considering the large number of applicants," said Suharmen.
