Gadjah Mada University (UGM) is one of the most sought-after universities among prospective Indonesian students. If students did not pass the 2023 National Selection Based on Achievement (SNBP), there is still an opportunity to enter UGM through the National Selection Based on Test (SNBT) pathway.
SNBT registration this year will open from March 23rd to April 14th, 2023. The UTBK (University Entrance Test for Bachelor's Program) Wave I will be held from May 8th to 14th, 2023, followed by UTBK Wave II from May 22nd to 28th, 2023, and the SNBT results will be announced on June 20th, 2023.
Based on data from the Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbud), UGM has 70 undergraduate departments or study programs (prodi), consisting of 47 science and technology (saintek) programs and 23 social humanities (soshum) programs.
Law is the program with the largest capacity at UGM in SNBT 2023, with 99 students. Then there is Animal Science and Industry with 90 students, and Forestry with 90 students.
There is also Pharmacy with a capacity of 72 students, followed by Biology and Psychology with 68 students each.
