Top 10 Best Senior High Schools in West Java, 2021

SMAS BPK 1 Penabur Bandung was named the best senior high school (SMA) in West Java in 2021, according to a report by the College Entrance Test Institution (LTMPT).

The average score on the Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) at the school reached 618.415, the highest in West Java. SMAS BPK 1 Penabur Bandung even ranked 2nd nationally among the best senior high schools last year.

SMAS Alloysius 1 was ranked second as the best SMA in West Java. The average UTBK score at the school, located in Bandung city, was 587.438.

Next, SMAN 1 Bogor ranked 3rd with an average UTBK score of 587.276. This was followed by SMAN 3 Bandung and SMAN 1 Bekasi with average UTBK scores of 584.819 and 582.509, respectively.

A total of 23,110 schools, comprising 777,858 participants, took part in the UTBK last year. The highest science and technology score recorded was 893.37. Meanwhile, the highest social humanities score was 822.29.
