One of the most sought-after university majors is law. Not only in Indonesia, but also abroad, law programs consistently attract a large number of applicants. This is due to the many career prospects available to law graduates.
Based on the QS World University Ranking (QS WUR) by Subject 2021, Harvard University has the best law program in the world. Located in Cambridge, United States, the university received the highest score, namely 99.9 points.
Second place for the best law program is held by the University of Oxford. This university, located in Oxford, England, achieved a score of 96.7 points.
Next, the University of Cambridge, England, is in third place with a score of 96.4 points. Following this is Yale University, United States, in fourth place with a score of 94 points.
Fifth place is occupied by Stanford University, United States, which received a score of 92.4 points. Next, The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE), England, obtained a score of 89.9 points.
Universities from the United States and the United Kingdom dominate this list. Only one university from Singapore is in the top ten, namely the National University of Singapore (NUS) with a score of 74.6 points.
Meanwhile, three Indonesian universities are included in the QS WUR list of the world's best law programs. These are Universitas Indonesia (world ranking 151-200), Universitas Airlangga (world ranking 251-300), and Universitas Gadjah Mada (world ranking 251-300).
The QS WUR ranking uses four indicators: academic reputation, employer reputation, research citations per paper, and H-index citations.
