According to the Central Statistics Agency (BPS), there are still Indonesian students who have experienced dropping out of school as of this year.

From a survey conducted in March 2025, the dropout rate at the primary school/equivalent level was 0.09%, at the junior high school/equivalent level 0.54%, and at the senior high school/vocational high school/equivalent level 0.86%.

The dropout rate indicates the proportion of students who, in the current academic year, did not continue their schooling before graduating, compared to the total number of students still enrolled at the same educational level.
