One of the scholarship recipient pathways for the Education Fund Management Institution (LPDP) under the Ministry of Finance (Kemenkeu) is collaboration with other ministries.
In this regard, the total number of LPDP scholarship recipients collaborating with ministries in the fields of education and religion reached 618,806 people throughout the period of 2021-September 30, 2025.
This total is divided into 578,554 recipients from collaborations with the Ministry of Education and 40,252 recipients from collaborations with the Ministry of Religious Affairs.
Below are the details of LPDP scholarship recipients from ministry collaborations:
Ministry of Education, Culture, Research, and Technology (Kemendikbudristek) for the period 2021-2024
- Degree: 24,967 people
- Non-degree: 549,911 people
- Total: 574,878 people
Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education (Kemendikdasmen) for the period 2025
- Degree: 0 people
- Non-degree: 2,600 people
- Total: 2,600 people
Ministry of Higher Education, Science, and Technology (Kemendiktisaintek) for the period 2025
- Degree: 495 people
- Non-degree: 581 people
- Total: 1,076 people
Ministry of Religious Affairs for the period 2022-2024
- Degree: 11,462 people
- Non-degree: 28,790 people
- Total: 40,252 people
LPDP explained that the 2025 scholarship recipients in collaboration with the Ministry of Religious Affairs, as of early October 2025, are currently undergoing the selection process.
To expand access equity, LPDP claims to continuously broaden its affirmative action programs, reaching 127 regencies/cities in underdeveloped and border regions, including Papua and 3T (Terdepan, Terluar, Tertinggal - Foremost, Outermost, Underdeveloped) areas.
"To date, over 14,000 affirmative action recipients have been funded, complete with pre-study training support such as language and academic readiness," LPDP stated in its press release.
