From 2012 to the end of 2023, the Indonesian Endowment Fund for Education (LPDP) has produced approximately 19,300 alumni, both those who completed their studies domestically and internationally.
Of this number, around 16,500 alumni have confirmed their careers after graduation.
As of December 31, 2023, the majority of LPDP alumni are recorded as working in the public sector or public service, totaling 12,700 individuals. Another 6,600 are employed in the private sector.
LPDP alumni working in the public sector generally work as academics or researchers, with the following breakdown:
* Academics/Researchers: 8,679 individuals
* Civil Servants/Professional Employees in Ministries/Agencies: 3,905 individuals
* Non-governmental Organizations: 365 individuals
* Indonesian National Armed Forces (TNI)/National Police (Polri): 155 individuals
Meanwhile, LPDP alumni working in the private sector mostly work in private companies, with the following breakdown:
* Private Employees: 5,038 individuals
* State-Owned Enterprises (BUMN)/Regional-Owned Enterprises (BUMD) Employees: 614 individuals
* Entrepreneurs: 375 individuals
